Advisory groups are made up of students from each grade level and assigned to one teacher. This teacher has an opportunity to become better acquainted with individual students. At weekly meetings, students take part in discussions, team building exercises, service outings or eating lunch together. Bible Portfolio and Capstone supervision is also done by the teacher/advisor.
Goals:
1.Advisory groups encourage student to student relationships.
2.Advisory groups create a sense of belonging, where students demonstrate care for one another.
3.Advisory groups provide an avenue to encourage spiritual growth and provide opportunities to perform acts of service in the community.
