Media:

Groups will be expected to include media to accompany their act.  Media may include, but is not limited to:

-         an introduction video

-         an accompanying video

-         lighting and smoke effects (lights will be provided)

-         backdrop and/or a logo/design on a screen

-         stage props

Wardrobe:

Teams will be judged on the relevance, creativity, and accuracy of their wardrobe.

Lip syncing:

Teams will be judged on the accuracy of their lip syncing abilities.  Timing and expression of the lyrics are important components.

Choreography:

Choreography includes every aspect of the performance.  Positioning, timing and use of the stage and props are all important parts of the choreography.  Drums and staging will be provided, but teams must provide all other instruments and materials relevant to their act.  Groups may choose to use real instruments, create their own replicas or go completely without instruments.  All dancing must be appropriate.

Stage Presence:

Groups will be judged on their ability to get crowd support.  The greater the crowd noise, the better your score!
